The property holds Yarragadee and Leederville water licenses to a sum of 416,000kL this still allows plenty of room for growth of the current operation. The large dam on the property is fed from the bores and creates an emergency supply if for any reason the two main bore pumps become un-operational, essentially drought proofing all of the plantings.
The well-known brand of "Tutunup table grapes" have been providing the market with their quality grapes at the tail of the season due to their southern location. The planting comprises of 11.7Ha's of well-established table grapes which is fully trellised, irrigated and covered with bird netting. The vines consist of Sweet Celebration, Jack Salute, Sweet Globe, Dawn Seedless and Red Globe varieties which the owners have found to be the most popular at market. The property has good production figures in recent years resulting in handsome profits.
The various gold variety kiwi fruit plantation is the only one of its kind in Western Australia, with 12Ha's of heavy-duty trellising to sustain the weight of the many tonnes of fruit it bears each season. Unlike other kiwi fruit growing regions in the Eastern States and New Zealand this property is able to boast that it is PSA-V disease free and the SKELTON GOLD kiwi varieties planted on this property have been carefully selected to ensure quality fruit for many years to come. The SKELTON GOLD varieties consist of Z487, Y368 and S600 and provide a staggered fruiting on the plantation, this ensures all fruit can be picked at the optimum time whilst also to providing the market with kiwi fruit for a longer period.
The 10Ha's of fully irrigated Gold Nugget mandarins have been planted with expansion in mind. The neighbouring paddock has already had the hard work and expense of de- rocking carried out with a vision in mind to increase to mandarin area to 25ha's. The water license is sufficient to carry out this vision and it's only needs the seedlings and some irrigation pipework to be added to the existing infrastructure to make this possible.
An inspection of this property is guaranteed to impress any prospective buyer.
